They're uncomfortable, too tight or won't stay put
Usually the headband length or the earcup position. A minute of adjusting fixes most of it, and new headphones loosen up a little with wear.
- Put them on with the L cup on your left ear and the R cup on your right.
- Adjust the headband until the cushions sit centered over your ears and the top of the band rests lightly on your head.
- Check the cushions surround your ears rather than pressing on them. If the top of your ear is squashed, lengthen the band a little.
- Move your head. They should stay put without squeezing.
- Cushions: these come with one set of cushions, fitted. There are no other sizes to swap in.
- Feel tight at first? New headphones are firm. The band usually eases a little over the first week of wear.
- Wear glasses? Put your glasses on first, then the headphones, and settle the cushions over the arms.
