My earbuds won't charge
Usually an earbud isn't sitting all the way down in the capsule, or the capsule itself is empty. The capsule light tells you if the capsule needs charging, and your phone can tell you if an earbud isn't seated.
- Open the capsule lid and look at the light on the front. Red means the capsule itself is nearly empty and can't charge anything. Plug it in with the USB-C cable, or set it on a wireless charging pad, until the light turns green.
- Take both earbuds out. Find the small metal dots on each earbud and inside each slot of the capsule. Wipe them with a dry cotton swab. Keep them dry.
- Put each earbud back in its slot and press down gently until it sits flat, with the hook lying in its groove. The capsule light blinks green as each one goes in.
- Close the lid all the way, then check your phone's Bluetooth. If it still shows your earbuds as connected with the lid closed, they aren't sitting properly and won't charge. Open the lid and press them down again.
- Still not charging? Swap them: put the left earbud in the right slot and the right earbud in the left slot. Close the lid and wait an hour.
- Check the plug. Push the cable all the way into the capsule and the wall adapter, and try a different outlet. Using a wireless pad? Make sure it's plugged in and the capsule is sitting in the middle of it.
