They're uncomfortable or fall out when I sleep
Usually the tip is too big, or the earbud isn't turned so the fin can hold it. Side sleepers often do best with a smaller tip and the earbud turned slightly forward.
- Check each tip is on the right earbud. Look inside the tip: it's marked L or R, along with its size. A left tip on a right earbud won't sit properly.
- Try a smaller tip. Your earbuds come with small, medium and large, and medium is already fitted. Pick the smallest tip that still feels sealed, without any pressure.
- Put the earbud in and gently turn it until the soft fin on the tip rests against the ridge inside your ear. That's what holds it in overnight.
- Sleep on your side? If you can feel your pillow pressing on the earbud, turn it slightly forward, toward your face. It'll sit flatter.
- Keep your tips clean. A little earwax makes them slippery and more likely to work loose.
